Incorporating Dynamic Variable Dot Imaging, the latest development in piezoelectric drop-on-demand technology, the Falcon-II can independently adjust the size of the droplets produced by each of its 1,440 nozzles-on-the-fly. The result is finer detail and smoother gradients in highlight areas and crisp colors in the midtones and shadows. And you never have to sacrifice speed for precision because the Falcon-II sails along with a throughput up to 430 square feet per hour at 360 x 360 dpi. A full-color poster can be printed in less than 45 seconds…a 3x5-foot vinyl banner in less than 2 minutes!

Designed for maximum versatility, the Falcon-II allows the user to load two sets of either KCMY dye or pigment ink and double the printer's throughput. Or load the pigments and dyes simultaneously, instantly switching from one ink type to the other! In addition to four-colour modes, the Falcon-II runs six or eight colour jobs with ease and, combined with dynamic variable dot, achieves the ultimate in near continuous-tone reproduction.

Setting the pace for reliable performance, the Falcon-II utilizes the latest developments from Mutoh in motion control and media handling, and it comes complete with a 21GB HDD, automated take-up system and on-site warranty service.
