Ink Cartridges
The Canon TA-20 Printer has a five colour ink system comprising Matte Black (x2), Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. The TA-20 24″ printer comes with a generous set of 55ml introductory ink cartridges in the box ready for you to start printing straight away and the replacement Canon PFI-030 ink cartridges are available next working day from stock.

NEWLY DEVELOPED PRINT HEAD
At the heart of the Canon TA-20 printer is a PF-06 Printhead. The 6-channel PF-06 Print Head is engineered to work with the printer’s high-speed carriage and high-frequency ink ejection to help facilitate fast printing. This printer boasts Canon’s print-head technology that lays down ink with outstanding speed and accuracy. The PF-06 print head incorporates a nozzle orifice shape to help minimize mist spray, producing clean lines and text. The high-precision, high-density print head, with a total of 15,360 nozzles, lays down 5 picoliter-size ink droplets that help produce sharp detail and excellent image quality. The result is consistently accurate 2400 x 1200 dpi output (max.) with fine lines that are accurate to ±0.10% and as thin as 0.02mm.
Anti-clogging Technology
Ink ejection conditions are precisely checked with sensors, so if a clog is detected, another nozzle automatically provides backup. In addition to helping to prevent wasted prints due to clogging, this also helps reduce the frequency of nozzle cleaning required.
No Switching of Black Inks
On other brands of printers, switching from Matte Black to Photo Black consumes a significant amount of ink and time. The PRO 2100 is designed to work seamlessly when changing paper types. Matte Black and Photo Black inks have their own dedicated nozzles, so no switching is necessary. You can print on fine art paper then glossy paper with no worries, no changes, and no waste.
Colour Calibration
Producing the correct colour is paramount when printing highquality, archival work. The built-in Colour Calibration function uses a multi-sensor to read colour density and automatically calibrate the printer, so that the last print looks as stunning as the first.
Sub-ink Tank System
The TA-20 Sub-Ink Tank System works to remove all the ink in the tank before having to replace it, helping to eliminate any wasted ink. The empty tanks can also be replaced on the fly, without stopping the printer. This is extremely useful during long print jobs.
