The NEW Epson Surecolor SC-R5000 64-inch printer offers outstanding print performance and colour control thanks to the PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead. Exact temperature control, which is monitored by four temperature sensors, ensures colour is consistent from edge to edge and top to bottom. Three independent heating stations (preheat / platen heat / post-cure heat) guarantee colour uniformity and adept media handling.

Description
With the launch of the SureColor SC-R5000 Series Epson has grown its signage printer line up to include a resin ink solution, giving print service providers and creative design agencies the ability to produce a wide range of signage and high value applications with environmentally friendly, exceptional results.
The new R Series addresses the existing industry difficulties of working with resin-based inks, and pulls from Epson’s years of innovation in imaging, colour management and substrate control, delivering an excellent solution.
The efficient drying and curing process enables lamination and same-day delivery so users can reduce turnaround times.
The long-life PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead means precise and repeatable colour from first print to the very last. As Piezo printheads are not subjected to thermal degradations, droplet position and dot sizes remain constant throughout the life of the printhead. When the printhead does need renewing, it can be carried out by the user, benefiting in increased uptime and productivity.
Class leading Advanced Auto Tension Control (Ad-ATC) offers highly precise dimensional stability required for tiled work such as window advertisements and wall coverings. This constant repeatability saves stock wastage, installation time and provides seamless results for the customer.
The new 6-colour UltraChrome RS ink set is an odourless, water-based resin ink and is suitable for use in any environments such as schools, hospitals, hotels and indoor facilities. The bulk ink solution has the option of 1.5 litre ink pouches for medium print volume amounts and a hot-swappable two set of inks for large print volumes, that is available on the SC-R5000L.
